if u wnat to learn more european languages latin is very helpful
and it isn't dead !!
in each of those languages is something from latin
for instance do u know that words "video" and "audio" are from latin and they means I see and I hear ??
latin is for ppl who likes explore languages for their satisfaction
it's developping me but unfortunatelly majority of ppl have the same opinion as digsy

don't quote the part of the sentence cause I WROTE that "it helps with learning other languages" Wink but if someone wouldn't learn any more languages they shouldn't take latin if you know what i mean

however if they're planning to learn french, spannish or italian in the future they should learn latin at first
